As part of the expansion of our infrastructure (new building in Mondercange and future projects in Bertrange), we are looking for a Facility Manager / Head of Infrastructure & General Services.
The role combines responsibility for property and infrastructure projects with day-to-day operational management of general services, thereby ensuring the smooth running of our sites and the quality of the working environment.
1. General Services (day-to-day management) Key responsibilities
- Day-to-day operational management of general services at the sites
- Managing service providers: cleaning, security, maintenance, multi-service
- Managing and optimising service contracts (renewals, negotiations, performance monitoring)
- Purchasing and procurement management (office supplies, consumables, miscellaneous equipment)
- Monitoring of services provided (quality, compliance with SLAs, assignments)
- Processing internal staff enquiries (tickets, operational requests)
- Monitoring technical assignments and coordinating service providers
2. Infrastructure & Property Projects
- Managing property projects in line with the budget, internal committees and the Board of Directors
- Property acquisition and analysis of investment opportunities
- Participation in tenders and selection of partners
- Monitoring of technical, logistical and organisational feasibility studies
- Coordination of planning offices, architects and specialist contractors
- Review of existing infrastructure and recommendations for improvement
- Monitoring of construction works and building fit-outs
Desired profile
- Experience in facility management, general services or infrastructure management
- Good knowledge of service provider and contract management
- Practical on-site acumen and a solution-oriented approach
- Organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with multiple contacts
- Experience of working in multi-site environments is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office
Languages
- Fluency in French is essential
- Knowledge of English and German is an advantage
- Luxembourgish is a plus
