Specially designed assistance

ACL offers specific assistance to members with historic cars or motorbikes over 20 years old (not exceeding 3.5 tonnes), including two options: assistance in Luxembourg or up to 150 km, with tailored services.

Luxembourg assistance: €55

Services

This assistance is available in Luxembourg but only in conjunction with the ACL ‘Luxembourg’ or ‘Europe’ membership card. It includes the following services:

1 free breakdown/towing service per year
1 vehicle transport per year at 50% off the official rate

Assistance up to 150km: €126

Services

This assistance is available in Luxembourg and in an area extending up to 150 km (distance as the crow flies) beyond Luxembourg’s borders, but only in conjunction with the ACL ‘Europe’ membership card. It includes the following benefits:

All Assistance services in Luxembourg
1 free breakdown/towing service per year within the 150 km zone
1 vehicle transport per year within the 150 km zone (with a 20% discount on the official rate)
Replacement car available free of charge 1 x per year for a maximum of 3 working days (Monday to Saturday inclusive) in the event of breakdown or accident, when travelling within the 150 km zone.

General information

Regardless of their membership formula (Assistance in Luxembourg or Assistance within 150 km), all members benefit from a preferential price for participation in various events, such as training courses organised by the ACL on the subject of historic vehicles, etc…

The contribution for assistance for historic vehicles is valid for the period from January to December, provided that the ACL membership card ‘Luxembourg’ or ‘Europe’ has been paid for.

Sporting competitions, in particular time trials, are excluded from Assistance. However, so-called regularity events are covered as long as their prescribed average speed is less than 50 km/h.
